Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems according to specifications and codes.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration components.

  • Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.

  • Replace defective or worn-out parts in HVAC systems.

  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.

  • Document all maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems.

  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and solve complex problems.

  • Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in HVAC technology and regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or technical school program preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HVAC Mechanic or in a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration components.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC equipment and diagnosing malfunctions.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants (preferred).

  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:


  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Evening shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime

  • Weekends as needed


Supplemental pay types:


  • Overtime pay
