As we expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and functionality of our facilities.
Position Overview:We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager with expertise in managing the physical infrastructure of a cannabis distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, including HVAC systems, to ensure the optimal functioning of our facility. Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the cannabis distribution center's facilities.
Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and minimize downtime.
Supervise a team of maintenance and facilities staff, providing leadership, training, and support.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective facility-related services.
Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, including monitoring access control systems.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a cannabis distribution center or similar industry.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and hands-on experience with HVAC maintenance and repairs.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cannabis facility operations is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
